Last updated: 11 June 2026. These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the website https://www.gitime.dev and all tools hosted on it ("the Site", "we", "us"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms as the Site evolves; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

2. What the Site provides

gitime.dev offers free, browser-based developer utilities such as formatters, converters, decoders, hashers and inspectors. All processing happens locally on your device: the input you paste or upload is handled in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Closing or reloading the tab clears it.

3. Licence to use

You may use the tools for personal and commercial development work, free of charge, without an account. You may not resell the Site, present it as your own, attempt to disrupt or overload it, or systematically scrape it in a way that interferes with normal operation. The Site, its design and its content remain the property of the operator.

4. Acceptable use

The decoding and inspection tools (for JWTs, Base64, certificates and similar) are provided for developers to debug their own, authorised data. You agree not to use the Site to:

• process, decode or analyse data you are not authorised to access;
• break, evade or assist anyone in breaking any applicable law, regulation or sanction;
• infringe intellectual-property rights, remove technical protections, or generate counterfeit credentials or documents;
• attack, probe or gain unauthorised access to any system, account or person; or
• do anything that would harm the Site, its users or third parties.

You are solely responsible for the data you choose to enter and for ensuring your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", for reference and development purposes only. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability or fitness for any purpose of any output, and you should independently verify results before relying on them. Please do not enter unauthorised confidential or personal data into any tool.

The Site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense and uses third-party services for fonts and ad delivery. We may add, change or remove tools and features, or suspend the Site, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your place of residence.
